The migration of data has been completed, and the search and indexing system is now operational with the expected performance. The processing of the documents queued up during the incident is estimated to take approximately 10 hours. Users will see improved freshness and the current estimate is that the processing will finish before 1:00 am UTC on November 5th.

Cognite engineering is currently working on improvements to the backend systems that the document search API depend upon. The work includes migration of data, and the team will need some time still to complete the work. This work is resulting from the incident that was announced November 2, and described here: https://status.cognite.com/incidents/pkk6rxntsh7dThe user impact from this incident is that search results will not include updates or new documents. The delay from a change is submitted to the changes are visible in search results are substantially larger than normally.
